Moments of Definition

There are moments which define us.

Milliseconds that have the potential to change everything.

Choices that  could have gone either way.
They all matter.

The problem is we can’t see it until it’s too late.  There is no magic time machine or re-do button.  Once it is done, it cannot be undone.  Some left to wonder ‘what if I had made a different choice?’, while others rejoice.  It isn’t fair or just by any means.  It just is.

You cannot choose greatness – not really anyway, as greatness is something which tends to choose you.

Another one of those defining moments.

You cannot choose who you fall in love with – fate has already chosen for you.

So what can you?

I’m starting to wonder myself.
